Maingate
Transportation provides daily shuttle service serving Windsor Hills Resort
with 2 morning pick-ups and 2 evening return runs that are at scheduled times.
These runs are shared with other guests from the resort. Pricing per round trip
for this service is as follows (2011 prices):
All Disney Parks: $11 per person Universal Studios / Islands of Adventure / Wet 'n' Wild: $15 per person Sea World / Discovery Cove / Aquatica: $12 person Orlando Premium Outlets: $11 per person
All rates are based on a per person
round trip. Departures and returns are set to meet the theme parks operating
hours. Shuttle vans are available for large group transfers and/or charters.
If you have 6 or more people, it makes sense to hire a private van since it's
charged by the trip and NOT per person. This can be arranged any time of day for
morning pick-up and evening return as you don't share this service with other
guests. The van holds up to 14 people and the round trip costs are as follows:
Disney Parks: Around $60 per van Universal Studios: $85 per van
They also provide service to and from the airport. They will have the driver
waiting with a sign showing the guest's name and he will help with their
luggage, etc. They charge around $80 for airport pick-up and around $70 for
return (if they are used for pick-up as well) - please check with them for
accurate pricing.
In terms of food shopping, they have a minimum charge of around $6 per person to drop
up to 5 people off at the store. They will come back to pick them up at a
specified time for around another $6.

Walking Times To
The Shops & Restaurants on the US192
To give you an indication of scale,
to walk to the US192 in order to reach the many restaurants & shops, would take
about 25 – 30 minutes - alternatively 3 minutes by taxi !! You will find a great
selection of restaurants and bars on the US192.
How to avoid the US192 traffic jams
to all attractions
The directions below will help you avoid the US192 which can get backed-up for miles during park entry & closing times.
Disney Parks
1. Turn left leaving Windsor Resort onto N Old Lake Wilson Rd / Entry
Point Blvd 2. At US-192 intersection go straight across onto Sherberth Rd and
follow road passing Disney Casting on right 3. Turn LEFT at Osceola Pkwy crossroads if you are going to Animal Kingdom
OR
4. Turn RIGHT at Osceola Pkwy and follow signs for the rest of the
Disney Parks & Water Parks
SeaWorld / Discovery Cove / Aquatica
1. As for Disney, but turn RIGHT on Osceola Pkwy 2. Stay on Osceola Pkwy following signs for I-4 East 3. Merge on I-4 East via the ramp to the left to Orlando 4. Take exit 71 toward SeaWorld 5. Merge onto Central Florida Pkwy 6. Follow the signs to Sea World / Discovery Cove / Aquatica
Universal Studios / Islands of Adventure
1. As for Disney, but turn RIGHT on Osceola Pkwy 2. Stay on Osceola Pkwy following signs for I-4 East 3. Merge on I-4 East via the ramp to the left to Orlando 4. Take exit 74A for Sand Lake Rd/SR-482 toward International Dr 5. Turn left at W Sand Lake Rd/SR-482 W - Continue to follow W Sand Lake

5. At exit 37, take the SR-407 exit on the left toward NASA Kennedy Space Center/I-95
N/Titusville
6. Merge onto Challenger Memorial Pkwy/407 N. for approximately 6 miles
7. Turn right onto Columbia Blvd/FL-405 E
8. Follow the Signs to Kennedy Space Center

Information
We have put together some information from our own experience, which we believe you may find of use to you during your stay
in on Windsor Hills Resort. However, if you have any questions, we are more than happy to help
you out.
Check-In and Check-Out Times
The earliest check-in time is 4pm and check-out time on the day of departure is 10am, at which time the cleaners will arrive to clean for the arrival of
the next guests. Earlier Check-in and later check-out times may be available at the Owner and/or Management Companies
discretion, subject to departure and arrival of previous and subsequent bookings.
Linen
Owners provide sufficient towels (including pool towels) and linen in
their villas. However, owners would
appreciate it if these would remain exclusively for use within their villa and pool area. If
you are planning a visit to one or more of the water theme parks or even plan a trip to the Gulf
or Atlantic coast, then
please use your own beach towels (or you can purchase these really
cheaply anywhere along the US192).
The Swimming Pool
For your safety you are requested that you do not take glass or crockery into the pool area
(broken glass is very difficult to see on a wet pool deck and swimming pool and is very
dangerous). Owners provide ample plastic tumblers, plates, bowls for safe use
around the pool.
The BBQ
Gas fired BBQ's
are provided by most villa owners for the use of their guests by the
pool area. Owners cannot be held
responsible for any injuries resulting from incorrect usage of this facility.
If you need any additional gas, a propane bottle exchange can be purchased for
around $25 from the local garage. Guests
are responsible for cleaning the BBQ after use or face a hefty charge for
cleaning.
The Pool Timer
This is pre-set by their management company and controls the pool pump. If you
have requested pool heating this is also pre-set by the management company -
please do not tamper with the settings as this could adversely affect the return
of part or all of your security deposit as electricity is disproportionably
expensive in Florida compared to the UK
Smoking Policy
For the comfort of future guests, you are respectively requested that you do
not smoke anywhere within the Villas. You are of course more than welcome
to smoke within the pool area using the plastic ash tray provided.
Pets
Sorry NO pets of any description are allowed in any villas - please do not bring your pets as
you will asked to leave the villa without compensation.
